Complete Mainspring Barrels

The highest precision is of course crucial for the mainspring barrel: all components must interact smoothly, and the connection to the other watch components is essential. In addition, there are aesthetic aspects, because watches that allow you to “see their inner workings” fascinate and inspire buyers.

At Schwab-Feller we are familiar with and appreciate both these aspects. Watch manufacturers have always assembled their timepieces in Büren. This has resulted in comprehensive know-how and excellent relationships with the manufacturers of the components.

The step to offer complete barrels themselves, so that customers only have one contact person for the entire “energy storage” function, came about naturally. Since 2017, watch manufacturers have been able to obtain complete spring barrels from Schwab-Feller – from a single source.
